“Margaritaville” is coming back to Wisconsin.
Jimmy Buffett is bringing his Coral Reefer Band back to Alpine Valley Music Theatre July 20 for the first time since 2016.
A perennial at Alpine for years, Buffett bypassed the East Troy amphitheater the past two summers to instead play Wrigley Field in Chicago.
His absence in 2017 contributed to Alpine’s first full-season closure in its 40-year history, after operator Live Nation was unable to secure any acts that summer.
Alpine reopened in 2018, hosting five shows with Dead & Company, the Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley. The outdoor amphitheater also will host Hootie & the Blowfish Aug. 23 as part of the band’s comeback tour after a 10-year hiatus.
Online ticket sales have ended but don’t worry, you can still grab ’em at the Radisson.
- Tickets for HDD may still be purchased ahead of time on Saturday Feb 15, 2020 at the QCPH table in the Radisson from 11:00am through 4:00pm for $25 each.
- Tickets will be available at the door for $30 each.

Weather is looking good, so it looks like we’ll be outside on the patio. The staff wear masks. Come thirsty, as they boast 100 beers on tap. The charity is Down By The Creek and below is their wish list. Also, food orders are done cafeteria style (front left as you go in the door), but they do bring it out to your table when ready.
