Adding Events

In order to manage events on the website calendar you will need to be logged in to the website. Along the left side of the Admin screen you’ll see the admin menu. Hover over Events and the Events Menu will open. Then click on Add New.

Next you’ll see the calendar event screen where you can enter the details about your event. Start by entering the name of your event and then the date and time information.

Next you’ll click the EVENT LOCATION DETAILS to open the location tab. Then enter the name of the venu for the event. (when the calendar is displayed the venue name will be added to the name of the event automatically). Then enter the address. Click the box to show a map if you want one.

Next you’ll click the EVENT COST AND TICKETS tab and fill in any of the fields there if applicable. 

Now click on ORGANIZER CONTACT INFO to fill in the contact person and phone, email where applicable.

Now you need to assign a category to your event. You can also assign a tag. Tags can be used to group events or help find similar events. Once you use tags a few times you’ll start to see how they work and the benefits they may provide for your particular needs.

Finally if you are satisfied with all of the information you entered you need to PUBLISH your event.

Editing or Managing Events

In order to manage events on the website calendar you will need to be logged in to the website. Along the left side of the Admin screen you’ll see the admin menu. Hover over Events and the Events Menu will open. Then click on All Events.
