This is a super satisfying volunteer opportunity,
and you are invited to make this another Parrothead success. For newer members, this is a 1-3 hour commitment one time. Great way to meet other club members, or you could just come between 2:30 and 3:30 and drop off your pie donation. Come say hi and introduce yourself. Here’s what we mean by Feeding Frenzy.
We prepare and serve a cheeseburger feast for the Tower residents, play trop rock music, sing along, and visit with them. The finale is always the wonderful pies that are donated. You can make a pie, purchase from Village Inn or your favorite local bakery. You may also donate funds at the October social, Oct. 24th, the Wednesday before the Feeding Frenzy so that we can purchase pies.
Gorgeous view, great food, and entertainment from fellow Parrot Head Pat Foley! Our charity is QC Haven of Hope based in Rock Island. Consider bringing a donation from the list below or a check made out to QC Haven of Hope. You can also contact Kathy Koester, our charity director, at kathko99@aol.com

“Margaritaville” is coming back to Wisconsin.
Jimmy Buffett is bringing his Coral Reefer Band back to Alpine Valley Music Theatre July 20 for the first time since 2016.
A perennial at Alpine for years, Buffett bypassed the East Troy amphitheater the past two summers to instead play Wrigley Field in Chicago.
His absence in 2017 contributed to Alpine’s first full-season closure in its 40-year history, after operator Live Nation was unable to secure any acts that summer.
Alpine reopened in 2018, hosting five shows with Dead & Company, the Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley. The outdoor amphitheater also will host Hootie & the Blowfish Aug. 23 as part of the band’s comeback tour after a 10-year hiatus.
