Meeting began with a discussion from Willy Fink talking about the ticket dilemma for the Wrigley Field concert and that we only got 25 tickets to give to our members. We have 25 members that didn’t get tickets. It was discussed about parrot points and who should get tickets.  Willy asked Bart Mason on how to handle this situation. Marc stated people who participate should have Wrigley tickets instead of someone who joins just to get a ticket. It was discussed to change by-laws by adding a section about conflict of ticket distribution for concerts and how to handle it. Willy is good with changing by laws. We are very vague in our wording at present time. In all the years we have been a club this is the first time we have had this situation.

Willy announced that Tara Boling would be running for President of the club.

Willy spoke of many people willing to step up to the plate rather than letting the club shut down but that Tara actually wants the position.

Willy also stated that Karin Hamburg wants the Secretary position.

Willy stated that then if Tara gets president we would need a new membership person unless Tara wants to hold both positions she could.  Jan Haugen spoke up and said that at their meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings it was negotiated that if Tara ran for President Jan would reluctantly take back the position of Membership Director unless someone else was willing to take it.  Jan announced that Marilyn Pulford has stated she would like to run for that position.

Willy stated he was thankful that these folks stepped up because it is too good of a club to let it shut down.

Willy announced that Wanda Vovos said the club could use her trailer for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 18th with the parade starting at 11:30 and lining up 45 minutes prior to that. Mike Malmstead will be at Club House on Saturday and will figure out a plan to get the float from “New” club house to parade route. Meeting about parade at club house this Saturday.

HDD is coming together quite well.  Meeting 6:30 pm at Old Chicago March 1st.  Donations coming in. Katie updating new flier with Bamboozler’s 6-8. Johnny Russler came in at $1700-$1800. Vote came in close in favor for the Bamboozlers.
