Business Meeting Minutes
March 15, 2017

Called to order by Vice President Jerry Brown at 6:26 pm.

Those present:  Marilyn Pulford, Craig Pulford, Jerry Brown, Jennie Fink, Chris Ivey, Steve VanLerBerghe, Karin Hamberg, Jan Haugen, Todd Haugen, Renae Meyer, Mickie Masterson, Karen Miles, Mike Koester, Kathy Koester, Tara Boling, Cheryl Boling, Brian Wilson, Merilee Buckrop, Karla Buckrop, TJ Griffiths, Anke Maass and Denny Reichenbacher.

No Payments for Approval.

Renewal notices will go out again to remind members to renew their memberships. Since HDD is on April 1st Jennie made a motion to membership renewals on April 1st be considered ‘not late’.  A lot of people renew at HDD each year.  Seconded by Brian Wilson.

Jennie sends an invite to our new members to join the Yahoo Group to receive club information emails. When her term is up Tara the Membership Director will take that on.  Marc will need to give Membership Director and the new President access to QCPH Yahoo Group and remove Jennie and Willy’s access when their terms are up.

Todd and Mike will be at the clubhouse at 8:00 am to load and assemble items on the float for the St. Patrick’s Day parade.  Staging is 9:30-10:00, walkers should come by 11:00 or 11:30 and we will be handing out tootsie rolls.  Tear down will be held at the clubhouse after the parade for those that can help.  Jan read the Rules and Regulations for this parade; no alcohol, no throwing candy, no advertisements handed out……  We are entry 43 out of 64.

55 members have renewed, leaving 250 that have not.  Tara ordered 32 TShirts for new members who sign up at HDD.

March social will be at Gunchies in Davenport, April will be at the TreeHouse in Bettendorf, May might be at Circle Tap and June will be at Go Fish with entertainment from Kasey Russell Band that was recommended by Go Fish owners.

Tara Boling motioned to adjourn meeting at 6:50 pm, seconded by Chris Ivey.
